Service Description

A Lymphatic Drainage (Guasha) Facial combines the benefits of lymphatic drainage massage with the traditional Chinese Guasha technique, which uses a jade or other smooth-edged tool to gently scrape the skin. The primary goal is to promote circulation, reduce puffiness, enhance detoxification, and stimulate the flow of lymph fluid, which helps the skin eliminate waste and excess fluids. Each of our Guasha Facials includes: • Total Cleanse • Traditional Chinese Guasha to lift and reduce puffiness • Exfoliation • Face Steam • Optional Extraction • Treatment Masks • Personalized cocktail of serums, lotions + potions ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ WHAT TO EXPECT 60 minutes from start to finish. You'll be laid under warm towels while we cleanse, exfoliate, and steam. The Guasha jade tool is then glided along the lymphatic lines — jaw, neck, cheekbones, brow — with a targeted pressure that feels deeply relaxing. Finished with masking and a custom serum cocktail tailored to your skin type that day. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ PREPARATION & AFTERCARE Before your appointment: • Come with clean skin if possible (we'll double-cleanse regardless) • Hydrate well — lymph flow works best in a hydrated body • Avoid injectables 48 hours prior (Botox / filler same day not recommended) After your appointment: • Continue hydrating — 2L water the rest of the day • Light makeup OK, but we recommend going bare for the evening to let serums absorb • You may feel lighter and slightly flushed — this is healthy circulation, not irritation • Best booked the day before an event for maximum glow Downtime: none. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ FREQUENTLY ASKED Q: Will Guasha bruise me? A: No. Facial Guasha is intentionally gentle — unlike body Guasha, we do not scrape to redness or "sha". Expect mild flushing that fades within an hour. Q: How often should I do this? A: For visible sculpting, weekly for 4–6 weeks. For maintenance, every 2–3 weeks. Q: 60 or 90 minutes — how do I choose? A: 60 min is our de-puff express option, great before an event. 90 min adds deeper drainage, longer massage, and often an extraction/mask protocol. Q: Is it safe during pregnancy? A: Yes, as long as there are no other contraindications. Please let your provider know. Q: Can I book it after Botox or filler? A: We recommend waiting at least 2 weeks after injectables before facial massage to avoid product migration.
