Service Description

The Keilance Hokkaido Brightening Peel is a luxury Korean cosmeceutical treatment inspired by the pristine botanical ingredients of Hokkaido — a premium brightening peel designed to fade stubborn pigmentation, even out skin tone, and restore a luminous, translucent finish. Using a carefully calibrated blend of tranexamic acid, lactic acid, and brightening botanical actives (including Hokkaido snow lotus and ice plant extract), this peel works on the deeper layers of melanin production — rather than simply exfoliating the surface — making it particularly effective for melasma, post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, sun damage, and uneven tone on all skin types, including Asian and deeper complexions. Benefits: • Visibly fades melasma, dark spots, and PIH • Restores even, translucent “glass-skin” radiance • Gentle enough for sensitive and pigment-prone skin • Minimal downtime — no visible peeling for most clients Best results with a series of 3–6 sessions spaced 2–4 weeks apart. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ WHAT TO EXPECT A medical-grade peel formulated with Hokkaido-sourced brightening actives. We cleanse, prep, apply the peel in layers (with neutralization as needed), then finish with calming and SPF layers. 45–60 minutes total. You'll leave with a clean, bright finish — no social downtime for most skin types. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ PREPARATION & AFTERCARE Before: Stop retinol, AHA, BHA, and benzoyl peroxide for 5–7 days. Don't wax or thread the face for 7 days. Avoid sun exposure for 7 days pre. After: SPF 50 every morning, reapply during the day. No retinol or acids for 5–7 days. Very light flaking is possible day 3–5 — don't peel it, let it shed naturally. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ FREQUENTLY ASKED Q: Will my skin peel visibly? A: Usually light flaking, not dramatic sheets. If you need more aggressive shedding, we'd recommend a different peel. Q: How many sessions do I need? A: 3–6 sessions every 2–4 weeks for pigmentation or dullness. One session gives a noticeable but temporary glow. Q: Is it safe for melanin-rich skin? A: Yes — this is a peel we specifically use on Fitzpatrick IV–VI. We still patch test and build slowly. Q: Does it sting? A: Mild tingling for 1–2 minutes per layer. Not painful for most clients. Q: Can I wear makeup after? A: Skip makeup for 24 hours for best results. Tinted SPF is fine. Q: What won't it fix? A: Deep dermal melasma, scarring, and thick hyperpigmentation need combined treatment — we'll flag if that's the case during consult. Q: Can I do this while pregnant? A: No — we swap in a pregnancy-safe enzyme treatment that gives brightening without the restricted actives.
